In 2022, I was hired at Epic Games to work on Lego Fortnite.  As a Senior Designer (Quests), my primary responsibility was to design and implement open world encounters and objectives.  The high-level direction was to find creative ways to entice players out of their villages, giving them reasons to explore the vast procedurally generated open world we had built.  Over time, my role expanded to include creating objectives and enemy encounters at Points of Interest.  By the end of my time at Epic Games, I was considered the team's subject matter expert on State Trees and Lego Fortnite's Encounter Tool.
